Liquor shops to close in Prez Poll weekend

The Commissioner General of Excise announced that all liquor shops and wine stores across Sri Lanka will be closed on 21 and 22 September due to the upcoming Presidential Election.

This measure is in place to ensure a peaceful and orderly voting process during the election period, the Excise Department said.
